Go to your profile then click on my subscription, select notification settings scroll down and uncheck automatically subscribe and save the setting.
All pages in our community that have the Subscribe option for members in the Options drop-down menu at the top right of the page, but some pages do not offer the feature. For example, the case portal.
I am trying to find a way to remove the word Subscribe in the Options menu on those pages for members so they do not expect that feature.
i think this may be a customization that our developers will need to review.
Hi @jamiemccardle, it seems in my mind that the "Turn off board subscriptions" option would do this, but if the subscribe option isn't disappearing, you'll have to do it via roles at the board\node level.
You can do this by going to Users -> Defaults -> Permissions and Denying "Use Subscriptions" in that board\node. I think that'll do it- but be sure to test with accounts with a few different user-roles.

That was an interesting idea. I did go into Admin> Default Permissions for a particular forum> Change default to deny>Saved.
The Subscription option still appeared on the menu, I just didn't receive the notification.
I think this is going to have to be a custom page.
