Subscriptions notification email formatting

Hi Khoros Community,

When receiving community email notifications for label and board subscriptions, the email removes any formatting done in our community (bold, html, etc). Has anyone else been successful in customizing email notifications to pass over the formatting done in the community?

Hi @delevine 

The only thing I can think of is that you're applying the formatting to the text version instead of the HTML version in STUDIO > TEXT EDITOR > EMAIL TEXT?  Sounds obvious but it might not be?

The only issue I've encountered is that (after much trial and error) DIVs are almost universally ignored in HTML emails.  We had to use a table (yuk) for layout purposes.

Hi @delevine 

I have been working on the default notification settings, and noticed that a user can also change/set their email format preferences in their profile here:

The notification settings can be changed in ADMIN but I have not found where you can setup the default email format settings. Nevertheless, this might provide another clue that will help you solve your problem.

Notification default settings are found in the Community Admin section under Users / Notification defaults
