Trending Tags

Hi does anyone know what is the comparison data used for trending tags. I have noticed an increase of 340% on a specific tag during a specific timeframe but i don't know what this increase is based on? Is it the monthly average or the same period last month?

Any ideas?

Hi.
I think you are looking in Social Response, correct?

I am no expert on that tool but found this document here which states.

The Trending Tags graph shows the topics that have the greatest percentage of change (positive or negative) at the end of the time range compared to the beginning of it. The Top Volume Tags graph shows the topics that have received the most posts during the entire time range.
