Happy 11th Anniversary, Khoros Community!

 Today marks the Khoros Community’s 11 year anniversary! Khoros started out as Lithium, a smaller company for peer-to-peer support. We’ve now grown into a robust company with products that span across the digital landscape.

It has been an exciting year here at Khoros! The past year was full of many changes, with the biggest highlight being that Lithium and Spredfast merged to create Khoros.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to our community over the years. You’ve helped make it an amazing place to connect, learn, ideate and share knowledge. The Khoros Community wouldn’t be what it is without you.

What’s next?

  • We’re working on making improvements to the Khoros Community. We’ll make a big announcement during Engage next week, so stay tuned for those updates! 
  • The Stars program and Awards (formally Lithys) will be going through a revamp. 
  • Implementing Single Sign On (SSO) for Khoros Marketing clients. 
    • SSO for all other clients is currently being worked on as well, and will likely launch in 2020. 
  • The beta for Group Hubs.
  • Improvements to search functionality and the overall user experience.

Happy anniversary, Khoros Community! 🎉

This community will always hold a special place in my heart. I'm very proud to have contributed to it across all 11 years that it's been around (and its predecessor, the private Power Users Group community!).

One of my favorite things is searching for an answer to a question and finding it in an old post by one of the many friends I've made here over the years. Some knowledge is truly evergreen.

Here's to 11 more years!

Ahhh how do I pick just one moment?! This Community has been a digital home ever since I joined the company 3.5 years ago. Some of my favorite moments have included the scavenger hunts, Lithy winner announcements, Lithium Stars announcements, and our recent announcement of becoming Khoros! Kudos to everyone who is currently on our Community team and has ever been on that team. You've built it up to what it is today and brought us to this 11-year celebration!


Congratulations on 11 years!

I too have a hard time picking a single thing to mention.

Documentation is my old stand-by but my favorite thing is checking out the new product ideas submitted by customers. It provides insights into how others are using the platform and can be an inspiration at times.  There is also the extended community when it comes to events where we get to meet other community members in person. 



Back in 2012 I inherited a Lithium community that had been a little neglected and I had no previous experience with the platform. It was a little overwhelming and intimidating. As a solo operator, the Lithosphere became a real lifeline - the ability to tap into the knowledge and experience of other community managers, who always shared their expertise generously. There are some wonderful people in this community and I really appreciate those who share their wisdom with us.  




Happy Birthday Lithosphere, like @JasonHill  said a true lifeline when i was migrating from Vb all them years ago and a source of some great inspiration from the amazing members.

Happy birthday, Khoros Community! This community has helped me several times when I've found developer documentation or a knowledge base article showing exactly what I need to do to enable a certain feature in the community admin tool. It's definitely saved me from having to reach out to Khoros Support! It's so meta to use a community for help with a community. You gots to love it.


Wow, eleven years already? I can check my profile, but pretty sure I've been here for at least the past 8 years. Great....thanks you guys. Now I feel old. Ha!
