Lithosphere tweaks this week

Lithium Alumni (Retired)

PaulGillihamProfilePaul Gilliham is Lithium's Director of Customer Marketing,  responsible for customer engagement marketing, social media and Lithium's own community, the Lithosphere.

He is a regular blogger for Lithium and in the Lithosphere you'll see him as PaulGi. You can follow him on Twitter at @lithosphere or @bladefrog

We introduced a couple of tweaks to the Lithosphere this week, maybe you noticed them already.

Thumbs Up Kudos

thumbsup.pngWe replaced the original Stars for Kudos with Thumbs Up icons. They work in the same way, but we were thinking that giving the thumbs up was a little clearer for people to indicate that they liked the post, idea, blog etc. Let us know what you think?

Accept Solutions Highlighting

While we have always had a green check mark for indicating our Accepted Solutions, in one of our last redesigns we removed the green highlighting of the actual reply that was the solution.

In hindsight that probably wasn't the best move, and it definitely made you look a little harder for the solution. I am happy to say we brought this back yesterday too. As we allow multiple accepted solutions, you will sometimes see highlighting of more than one reply in the thread.

Let us know what you think of the improvements and always let us know if you spot other possible enhancements - I'd love to hear them.
