Deleting Inbox Responses Sent to Approvals

Our team has an approvals team set up for Marketing inbox. The team member that originally submitted all these responses for approvals is no longer in Khoros or working on this type of work. While the team member was removed, the responses live static in our inbox with no rejection or delete button in sight. The edit button that is available doesn't give further options to remove the post. How do we work around this issue? Has anyone else encountered this?
