Based on an improvement idea submitted by @Wendy_S since release 15.9 it's now possible to reduce the time before an accepted solutions reminder email is sent. I have to admit that I totally missed this change and have just now started a test phase to decrease it below a week, currently we'll run it at 4 days for a while and check the impact on solutions marked.
I think this setting requires some tweaking to match the posting, response and solution marking behaviour on each community. Still I'm curious to learn if any other CM made use of this new option.
What's the accepted solution email reminder setting on your community?

Workshop has only just gone live and I'm wary of bombarding users with too many notifications so I'm going to leave it at 7 to start with.
I think the sweet spot really depends on how active/responsive your community is, and also how time sensitive the typical question is.
On the previous support community I managed, most users got a response within 24 hours and just about all within 48. So 7 days was definitely way too long, especially as the questions were often time sensitive. I think I would have also tried 4 to start with and considered moving to 3 after a trial. @Suja, are you going to do a trial?
