Post formatting has Changed

Hi Lithium Team,

 

We are trying to copy the following content "You might have read our previous post about the many benefits of membership in the Community. You are gaining confidence and ready to go! But if you are yearning for more info on how to grow your business" in our community using Edge Browser and after posting the most of them are converting into the Special characters. Is there any workaround to overcome this.

@AbhishekIlindra - Have you tried typing the same content? or pasting this content in notepad first and then copy from there and paste it here. Also, is this the only content with the issue?

@VarunGrazitti : It is working fine when we type the content and even the same issue is happening in the Lithium Community.

@AbhishekIlindra- Ok, I am using edge to post this message. Attached is the screenshot of comparing the Edge vs Chrome behavior for the copy paste case.

 

If you paste this content from Notepad - which removes the formatting, it works fine. See below

+ Where are you copying this text from? I think Lithium is removing the additional formatting from this. Looks like Edge is trying too hard and ends up screwing the end result.

And actually the most relevant question: Are you referring to behaviour here on the Lithium community or is this aboutyour customer community? In the latter case this is more of a support question and should be moved to the support forum.
