The 7 th Annual Incite Corporate Social Media Summit took place June 20 th and 21 st at the Marriott Brooklyn Bridge, with over 350 corporate professionals and senior leaders in attendance from leading brands such as Canon, Comcast, and eBay. Lithium had a great presence at the event with a booth to showcase our monitor wall and a space to demo Reach to the attendees.
Speakers from brands including Wells Fargo, Humana, Intuit, and Zappos, covered topics on social engagement, social care, and innovation. Lithium’s very own Dave Evans (@DaveEv), VP of Social Strategy, presented on the Engage Your Social Customer track; he spoke as part of the panel on “Content Creation: Drive engagement with personalized, captivating and timely content,” with The Wall Street Journal’s VP of Digital and Content and HP’s Social Media Manager, which ended with an engaging Q&A session with the audience.
The 2016 Corporate Social Media Awards, which rewards valuable and innovative social media, took place Monday evening. Lithium customer Rogers Communications was nominated for the “Best Social Customer Care” award, for the submission titled Rogers Communications Puts Customers First with World-Class Social Care. Margaret Tsuji ( @MargaretT - below, second from right) attended on behalf of Rogers and celebrated her nomination with the Lithium team at the gala dinner.
Another Lithium customer, Bell Canada, was shortlisted for “Best Social Media Campaign” for their #BellLetsTalk campaign that set a higher bar for social media usage.
