Am I reading the first of the general fixes right? The bio field will now not be visible to any user that isn't able to manage roles, users etc..?
If so, I'd like to understand why this is seen as a bug to be fixed? Hasn't this field always been public, and doesn't it provide useful info to other users (non-admins) to validate whether a user has the experience/qualifications to give an informed opinion, provide good help etc..?
We use this field on our profile pages, will the contents just disappear for most users, leaving a blank space?

- We have changed the privacy settings associated with a community user's biography field. Now, the biography field is private everywhere (not displayed), except for users who have the Manage roles, user bans, and abuse notification in admin and user profiles permission. Users with this permission can also get user biography information returned in their search results, as they can today with other private information like First and Last Name.
