The Khoros Social Marketing team is thrilled to deliver our new Ads Capabilities to you!

Social Marketing Challenges We Heard From You
We spoke to many of you, heard your needs, and the following were the most common issues surfaced:

  • You have found it difficult to get a complete, real-time picture of what’s going out on behalf of your brand across your internal and external stakeholders.
  • On-demand analytics and performance across your brands and ad accounts have not been accessible.
  • You are caught between the fast-moving world of social and your large, complex business environment. Global templates, workflows, measurement standards, and best practice sharing is difficult as regions and business units discuss and measure social ads performance uniquely.

What We’ve Done About It

We invite you to check out the following capabilities in our Social Marketing product (formerly known as Conversations) to elevate your team’s governance, visibility, enhanced business context, moderation support, and performance measurement across paid and organic:

  • Governance:
Your control of access across your global social teams, your agencies, and additional internal stakeholders is paramount. With social accounts organized across Initiatives in Khoros Social Marketing, our capabilities allow for bespoke configuration as well as clarity on which ad account data will be made visible, where it can be seen, and by whom. In a world where many ad accounts can publish to one Facebook page, and one ad account can publish to many Facebook pages, our Social Marketing product will give you and your team peace of mind about carefully governed access and visibility.

Questions about your configuration use case? We recommend Company Admins check out the Ads Readiness Guide to review workspaces, roles, and ad account authentication overview. Please note your agency, business unit owners, or other regional stakeholders can authenticate an ad account without being a company admin!

  • Visibility:
An on-demand tool to see everything going out on behalf of your brand and when is at your fingertips with the Calendar. Advanced filtering across posts and ads, along with ads-specific variables such as Ad Placement, Ad Accounts, and Ad Sets are included, as well.  Bringing posts and ads together, plus bringing a singular ad to an applied day-by-day calendar view, has given our Early Access customers the opportunity to drill into both operational and strategic business questions. We are eager for you to check this out!

  • Enhanced Business Context:
You can deliver a richer set of analytics across your campaigns by applying a consistent labeling taxonomy that extends your existing post labels and that also now includes ads.  Apply plans and labels to your ads from the Calendar to be able to report on them in Analytics.

  • Moderation:
You’ve put money behind your content to target your audience and generate impressions; did it spark conversation? With today’s release, we now support Instagram Ads moderation alongside your existing organic Instagram comments, Facebook posts, and select Facebook ads comment moderation in both the Social Inbox and Care Module.  Recognizing the power of using the same workflows to respond to customer comments, whether organic or paid, ensures consistency in brand voice and customer experience, while also enabling your brand to make the best use of the dollars spent on ads.

  • Performance Measurement Across Paid and Organic:
Whether you convey the impact of your team’s efforts with posts and ads on one dashboard, access your data via our Ads Export in the Data Export Manager, or via our soon-to-be released APIs, our Marketing Analytics will now deliver visibility into how your brand is performing across social. There are three key elements: First, layer in ads metrics to increase the sophistication of reporting capabilities. Second, gain efficiencies as stakeholders can now review performance across ad accounts and on-demand instead of pulling ad account by ad account and waiting for email reports. Third, tie performance back to business value as you apply plans and labels to augment ads reporting.

What You Can Do Now

  • Ready to get started? Go authenticate your ad accounts.
  • Share these capabilities with your team and social ads stakeholders.
  • Check it out and give us your feedback in product and with your account team.
  • Stay tuned for more product updates, there’s a lot more coming.

Best,
Your Khoros Social Marketing Team
