To address the most urgent concern in this thread: We are now shipping fixes (for both Classic and Aurora). We have several releases planned for August, starting with fixes for the most urgent issues (e.g. security related). I won't comment on individual tickets here but we are triaging and working through them right now.
I understand this all looks very slow from your perspective; I can assure you, it is far from slow on the inside! While it is still baby steps right now, very soon we will be running at full speed.
I'm not going to ask you to "trust me" or promise to boil the ocean. I'm also not able to give specifics right now about upcoming features or enhancements (and wouldn't do this in a comment thread anyway).
What I can tell you is that our teams have been working hard, and the difficult waiting period is over: releases are shipping again and we are addressing bugs and issues per priority. Bigger changes are also coming.

Quickly: There is a reference to Jive in the original post, and I picked it up as a way of giving concrete examples of how we are developing our products. For context, Jive was a product that was gutted and neglected by previous owners. Since moving to IgniteTech it has seen substantial investment, as will Khoros Communities.
