Four weeks ago, we acquired Khoros. Since then, there’s been speculation—about what changed, what we’re doing and where this platform is headed. Some focused on staffing. Will we get release notes for the new updates?
Will the updates go to Staging environments before they are rolled out to Prod?
Will the schedules we are used to following still be maintained (time between Stage and Prod releases)?
Will we be able to delay an update if we have a business need, as we have in the past?

It would be really nice to know if the process of getting updates is changing, and what the new process will look like if so.

    Great questions.

    Yes, release notes will continue to be published here as before. There has been one release that does not have release notes yet; this is on my list but there is a low level operational blocker to publishing them. The tl;dr of this release is that we added a new language pack - Chinese (Traditional). This was a low risk change and met a specific requirement during our acquisition process.

    I will write a separate thread on the release process, including the use of staging environments.
