Khoros Care updates do not require any downtime. This release will be deployed with no expected impact to your operations until you configure the new features. If you do not yet see the new features, they will be pushed to your system later in the week.

New Features

Manage View

System Tag: Emojis Only

In this release, we have introduced a new system tag for the post that contains only emojis. As an Agent or Moderator w Admin access to tagging, you can create rules using the Emojis Only tag for the columns. You can also filter the columns in Manage View to view posts that contain only emojis across all social channels.

Using the Emojis Only tag, you can filter posts with emojis from a large number of the community posts and choose to either respond or reject/mark as spam/ignore these posts. This helps you to easily capture spam posts and inappropriate content, thus maintaining the overall community hygiene.

The Emojis Only tags cannot be applied to the posts that contain characters other than the emojis. As you can create tags on the fly, you can benefit from rules created for the Emojis Only tag and apply them instantly. You can view the tag for a post in the Conversation Panel. The hierarchy for the Emojis Only tag is as follows:

System Tag > Media > Emojis Only

Note: The Emojis Only tag can be applied to new posts only, this is currently not available for the existing posts.

You found it. We fixed it.

Response

  • Resolved an issue that caused agent draft responses in a conversation to be deleted when the end user sent multiple messages in a row.
  • Resolved an issue that prevented agents from creating more than one personal template in a row without refreshing between attempts.

It is essentially the same thing, just now officially part of OOTB System Tags vs. custom tags built with RegEx rules.

  • JohnKn Is this new Emoji tag any different than the regex "emoji-only comment" tag on our account from last year?
