Khoros Care updates do not require any downtime. This release will be deployed with no expected impact to your operations until you configure the new features. If you do not yet see the new features, they will be pushed to your system later in the week.

New Features

Apple Business Chat verbiage update

Throughout Care, all references to “Apple Business Chat” have been updated to “Apple Messages for Business.”

System messages added to Secure Forms conversations

In the Care 146 Release, we added an enhancement to automatically create a new conversation when a customer responds to a Secure Form after the assigned agent has already closed the original conversation. In this release, when the new conversation is created, new system messages are now displayed on both the original conversation and the new conversation to indicate that the conversations are both associated with the same Secure Form. Each system message also includes a conversation ID link to the corresponding conversation.

Manage View

Mentions in Khoros Community conversations

In Khoros Community conversations, when entering a response in the field on the Respond tab of the Conversation Panel, users can now @mention the author or anyone else directly mentioned in the conversation.

You found it. We fixed it.

Care

  • Previously, when a Twitter conversation included a link that contained an ampersand (&), the ampersand was incorrectly displayed as & in Care. Ampersands in these links are now displayed correctly.

Manage View

  • Previously, when a user clicked on a post in a Manage View Post column to open the full conversation in the Conversation Panel, the incorrect conversation was displayed. The Conversation Panel now displays the correct conversation.

  • I was wondering if we can clarify this "If you do not yet see the new features, they will be pushed to your system later in the week."

The article was posted on Jan 16th which was 2 weeks ago (10 business days).

Mentions are not working so I'm not sure if this hasn't been deployed, or isn't working as expected? My assumption would be yes, its been deployed since the phrasing could be interpreted as the update will be applied no later than Jan 20th.

To avoid creating support debt and help other admins I was curious if you can clarify this DianeL. Thanks!

tyw Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I've reached out to the Manage View PM to confirm the status of this enhancement and will follow up with you as soon as possible.

tyw, DianeL: @mentions will be available this week as part of our final release of the year ending January 31, 2023. 🙂

  • Looks like the release has rolled out - mentions are appearing now.

    Thank you both!!
