Khoros Care updates do not require any downtime. This release will be deployed with no expected impact to your operations until you configure the new features. If you do not yet see the new features, they will be pushed to your system later in the week.

New Features

LinkedIn reintegration

LinkedIn recently announced that they are launching a new Community Management API and deprecating the previous version as of June 30, 2023. Care is already in the process of migrating to this new API, so we recommend that users reintegrate all of their LinkedIn accounts by the June 30th deadline. If users do not reintegrate their accounts, those accounts will no longer have the necessary permissions for managing LinkedIn content in third-party applications and will therefore be invalidated.

Manage View

Shared View improvements

  • Search Option In the Shared View panel, you can now search for a Shared View by entering its name in the search bar.

  • Rename Shared View Manage View users who have the ability to create Shared Views can now rename any Shared View to which they have access.

You found it. We fixed it.

Care

  • Previously, when an agent attempted to edit their response in a Khoros Community conversation, the Save to Community and Cancel buttons below the response field were partially cut off. These buttons are now fully visible.
  • An issue has been resolved that allowed agents to upload image and file attachments in Brand Messenger conversations even when the Enable image uploads and Enable file uploads settings were turned off.
  • Previously, when a user created a secure form and attempted to enter a URL that contained a hyphen in the Terms and Conditions Link field or the Privacy Policy Link field, they received an error and were unable to save the form. Now, in this circumstance, users can save their forms successfully.

Manage View

  • Previously, Manage View users were unable to access conversations designated as watched in the personalized columns. We've corrected that; the personalized columns now display conversations that have been marked as watched.
