Khoros Care updates do not require any downtime. This release will be deployed with no expected impact to your operations until you configure the new features. If you do not yet see the new features, they will be pushed to your system later in the week.

New Features

Show or hide pre-chat messages within Brand Messenger Modern Chat widget conversations

When an admin defines a pre-chat message for a Brand Messenger Modern Chat widget, they can now choose whether to show or hide the message within the chat window by selecting or clearing the new Include Message within conversation checkbox. This checkbox is selected by default.

To show or hide a pre-chat message within a Modern Chat window:

1. Sign in to Care as an Admin user and go to Settings > Brand Messenger > Modern Chat.
2. Click the Modern Chat widget you want to edit.
3. Create a new rule or modify an existing one by clicking the Edit (pencil) icon in the row of the rule.
4. Below WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEND?, in the Message field, enter the desired pre-chat message or ensure that one has been previously defined.
5. Below MESSAGE DISPLAY OPTIONS, select or clear the Include Message within conversation checkbox to show or hide the pre-chat message in the chat window.
   
6. Click Save.

Trustpilot integration updates

We have made the following updates to the Trustpilot integration in Care:

• Admins no longer need to set up webhooks manually in Trustpilot for the integration to function properly in Care. Webhooks are now configured automatically.
• With each Trustpilot review, the following metadata is now ingested:
  • source – the source of the review (such as Organic or Invited)
  • referenceId – the reference number associated with the review (if applicable)
• Review titles are now displayed in bold font.
