Khoros Care updates do not require any downtime. This release will be deployed with no expected impact to your operations until you configure the new features. If you do not yet see the new features, they will be pushed to your system later in the week.
New Features
Secure Transfer Admin Page (Early Access)
All customers using Modern Chat have early access to new, self-service administration features for Secure Transfer. Secure Transfer is the seamless workflow to offer customers the option of continuing their conversation over a more secure, brand-owned messaging channel (Brand Messenger) instead of over 3rd-party networks.
This Early Access program includes a new Secure Transfer Admin page:
From this page, Care Admins can configure:
- Transfer Messages and Language Variants
- Transfer Portal URL
- Originating Conversation handling after successful transfer
- Automatic assignment of incoming transfer brand messaging conversations to the transferring Agent

Coming Soon: External Responses
Again, we are putting the final touches on a new “External Responses” feature.. While not yet released, we expect to release this feature the week of September 21.
