New Features
TikTok comment ingestion
Due to a recent TikTok API update that introduced webhooks, Khoros Care now ingests comments on TikTok brand posts more quickly and reliably.
Note: To begin using the updated functionality, an admin must toggle their TikTok integration off and back on.
To learn more about the TikTok integration with Care, refer to Network Capabilities: TikTok.
Twilio SMS integration
Twilio SMS integrations with Care now support the following media file types:
- audio/mp4
- audio/mpeg
- video/mpeg
- video/mp4
- video/quicktime
- application/pdf
Refer to Integrate Care with SMS to learn more about this integration.
Image enhancements in conversations
For a more accessible experience, we have added image support to conversations that allows agents to download, zoom, and reset images as well as open them in full size in a new window.
To open an image in a new window, hover your cursor over the image until the zoom magnifying glass icon appears.
After you select the image, it opens in a new window where you can scroll, zoom, and download the image.
Developer Experience
Brand Messenger
With this release, the following updates have been added to Brand Messenger's developer experience.
React SDK
- Brand Messenger's React Native SDK provides a method for adding global metadata, which is then applied to all messages.
Android SDK
- For increased accessibility, more A11y voiceover announcement options have been added.
You Found It. We Fixed It.
- Previously, Admins with the User Admin role but without the Agent role were unable to view users within teams in Settings > Account Setup > Teams. Now, Admins in these circumstances can view members of teams.
- We resolved an issue in which retweets ingested through Twitter Listening rules weren’t being categorized as retweets and therefore weren’t respecting the retweet exclusion rule. Now, retweets are excluded correctly in these circumstances, and if retweets are included in Twitter Listening rules, they are now appropriately tagged with a system Retweet tag.
