Khoros Care updates do not require any downtime. This release will be deployed with no expected impact to your operations until you configure the new features. If you do not yet see the new features, they will be pushed to your system soon.

New Feature

Work Queue search

We improved the conversation transfer experience by implementing a Work Queue search field in the Assigned To drop-down window in conversations. This enables agents to quickly locate the work queue to which they want to send the current conversation. We’ve also updated the styling on the Unassign and put back into Available button at the top of the Assigned To window.

To learn more about transferring conversations, refer to Unassign or reassign conversations.

Developer Experience

Modern Chat: Markdown Support Advanced CSS Classes

We have added documentation for Markdown support in Modern Chat widgets. This includes the ability to customize how different HTML elements are rendered when they are added using Markdown syntax. You can find out more in Advanced CSS Classes.

You Found It. We Fixed It.

  • We fixed the following issues related to search capabilities:
    • Previous search text is no longer maintained in the search bar when you attempt to start a new search.
    • The ESC key now correctly closes the search window and returns focus to the button that opened the window.
    • The TAB and SHIFT-TAB keystrokes now correctly close the search window and move focus to the on screen elements that come before or after the button that opened the window.
    • When you select outside of the window, it now closes as expected.
  • Previously, when agents deleted tweets in the X (formerly Twitter) platform, they were still appearing in the Care conversation. This has been resolved.
  • We resolved an issue in which agents were unable to send direct messages to authors who commented on public Facebook posts.
