StanGromer - Thanks for your input. Our new in-app guidance content solution includes several components, one of which are guides meant to drive awareness and quick education nuggets for new features as well as push any Support alerts about the platform.
Other features include the Resource Center, which includes quick links to Release Notes, Coaching Videos, Best Practices, and the ability to search Atlas and access help content (coming very soon).
Guides are only visible to Admins. While we know that many communities have several "admins", this is the most narrow role we can target in our tools and role system.
Our in-app guidance is not intended to be a sales tool. That said, occasionally there will be big, new features that might be an add-on. It is our job to make that clear in the guide, which we missed on this Events guide, which is currently in EA. I will make sure to be more clear on this in the future.
