Analytics
Facebook followers update
Analytics widgets will now be able to display Facebook page follower metrics. Facebook recently introduced a new Pages experience which allows Marketing Analytics to ingest Facebook page followers rather than fans. Previously, Marketing Analytics was only able to show fan counts for followers, but will now utilize this new feature to show a count of page followers.
This update went into effect on June 6, 2021, at which time fan metrics will no longer be accessible and swapped out with the follower metric. All follower metrics will be impacted including those in these widgets:
- Account Explorer
- Channel Explorer
- Followers
- Followers by Account
- Followers by Channel
- Followers by City
- Followers by Country
- Followers by Gender and Age
- Scorecard

Publishing
Add videos to YouTube Playlists
You can now add videos to one or more playlists when publishing to YouTube. In the publishing window when you select the channel as Youtube and go to the YouTube tab on the left side menu, there will be a new component called Playlists.
In the Playlist section all the Youtube playlists available for that particular account will be shown, along with the type of each playlist (shown in the brackets) for reference. The selected playlist(s) will be shown separately on top of the drop-down.

Facebook increased video upload limit
You can now publish longer videos to Facebook. Videos up to 10 GB size and 4 hours long can be uploaded directly into the publishing window and published on Facebook. This limit has been enhanced for publishing via Khoros APIs as well.

Calendar
Alt text and SRT files export visibility
There are now two new columns in the Calendar export file:
- Alt text
- SRT File
The ‘Alt Text’ field will be marked as Yes if for at least one image Alternative text is added.
The ‘SRT file’ field will be marked as Yes if at least one SRT file is uploaded to at least one channel while publishing the post.

Inbox
Instagram direct messaging support
On June 2, 2021, Facebook began a phased rollout to provide access to their Messenger API. This access allows Khoros to ingest direct messages and replies to brand stories, which enables agents to manage private conversations in the Inbox.
For details on the rollout and to learn when this feature will be enabled for your Instagram business account, read our blog announcement.

Experiences
Improved reporting on visualizations
On June 30, 2021 we changed the way data is collected and stored on reports of visualizations in Experiences. The purpose behind this approach is to make the system around data storage more efficient and to improve accuracy.
An unavoidable side-effect of this change is that users will not be able to view reports of historic data prior to the change on the Experiences product. While we have reached out to users through several channels regarding this change, if you have been unable to download desired historical data before June 30, contact Khoros Support within 60 days of the update for assistance.
Note: Once after the 30th of June you will need to manually republish all of your live visualizations. For each one:
- Navigate to Experiences > Manage > Spaces and click a Space.
- In the right column, under Experiences, hover over the Refresh icon on the live visualization.
- Click on the Refresh icon to Republish the visualization. This step will need to be repeated for each Space with live visualizations that you want to track in the Manage Spaces tab.
