Publishing
In the publishing window when the user selects the channel as Youtube and go to the YouTube subsection on the left side menu, there will be a new component called ‘Playlists’.
In the ‘Playlist’ section all the Youtube playlists available for that particular account will be shown. Along with the name of the playlist the user can also find the type of playlist (shown in the brackets) for reference.
Users can select multiple playlists to which the video has to be added. The selected playlist will be shown separately on top of the drop-down. Users can update the list of selected playlists anytime before the post is published.
Note: Video with any privacy type can be added to any playlist. And adding video to a playlist is optional.
If multiple Youtube accounts are added to the publishing window, then for each Youtube account there will be a separate playlist selection option. Selection of playlist is optional for any of the Youtube accounts.
Once the post is published the selected playlist will be updated with the video on Youtube.
There is no change in any of the other publishing functionalities.
Limitations:
There are no known limitations for the feature but for any reason, if the Youtube playlist is not updated then a warning message is shown in the side panel of the post.
