Now Available: EveryoneSocial & Khoros Integration

The wait is over! With this integration, users can now authenticate their Everyonesocial accounts on the Khoros platform and publish content to Everyonesocial directly from Khoros.

To schedule or publish content to Everyonesocial from Khoros, simply follow these steps:

1. Authenticate your Everyonesocial account on Khoros Marketing.

2. Once your account is authenticated, click on the blue "Create" button located on the top navigation toolbar.

3. Click on the "Accounts" field and choose the specific Everyonesocial account that you want to publish to. Note that only one Everyonesocial account can be selected at a time.

4. Use the dropdown menu to select the desired Everyonesocial Group to publish to. If desired, select additional groups to repost to.

5. Choose a format for the post - either Link or Image/ Video. Note that the Link format is selected by default.

6. For Link format, enter any description in the text box provided (Referred to as Internal commentary on EveryoneSocial). This text will be visible within EveryoneSocial as the Caption for the post, but will not be posted to social networks when the content is shared.

7. Enter a URL that you want to promote in the space provided. If you include a URL, a preview including an image thumbnail, title, and description text will be generated automatically. You can scroll through potential thumbnails scraped from the target page and choose one, or you can choose a custom thumbnail image from your computer or the Content Center.

 

Note that when publishing to EveryoneSocial and other networks simultaneously, any URL included in the message body text for the other network will automatically be included as the URL for EveryoneSocial. If there are multiple URLs in the text, only one can be posted to EveryoneSocial. The one selected in the Links tab as the Link Preview will be included as the URL for EveryoneSocial.

 

8. If you've selected Image or Video as the format for the post, you can add up to five images or one video. Enter any description in the text box provided, which is referred to as "Internal Commentary" on EveryoneSocial. This text will be visible within EveryoneSocial as the Caption for the post. The "Title" field on Khoros is referred to as "Title" on EveryoneSocial, but it is not visible anywhere in the post on EveryoneSocial.

9. Click on the EveryoneSocial tab located on the left-hand toolbar to allow sharing or flag the post as branded or important. You can also toggle "Add Share Copy" to enter suggested text copy to accompany the content for each network (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter). When this option is active, you can also choose whether users can edit this copy.

10.Additionally, use the toolbar on the left to perform any of the following actions to your post: 

  • Add labels to the message
  • Add the message to a Plan
  • Assign the message to an Approval team
  • Assign the message to a user in your company (it's assigned to you by default)
  • Add a note visible to other users in your company

11.. Once you've prepared your message, you may choose to publish/schedule the post from Khoros

12..You will be able to view the published Everyonesocial posts on the calendar. Under the "Basics" section, select Everyonesocial to view channel-specific information. All the information that has been selected, such as branding, marking as important, and share copy, will be visible

Please note the below:

  • You can set up approval and label rules for Everyonesocial as a channel or for any specific EveryoneSocial accounts.
  • You will be able to delete posts from Khoros, but native deletion from Khoros  is not possible.

  • Hi there, I tried to authenticate my EveryoneSocial account and got the message: "Oh no! This is an invalid Outh Integration request". Any idea why this is happening?

    dagole13 can you kindly retry authenticating? EveryoneSocial seems to have fixed the issue. Please file a ticket, incase you are still experiencing the  issue. Thank you
