New analytics format options are available for Instagram posts containing multiple videos and a combination of photos and videos.
The ingestion and visibility of these content types were improved as part of a recent update. In order to make it easier to assess performance of these content types in analytics additional options have been added to the format filter and widgets.
The Multi-Video format is connected to all Instagram feed posts with more than one video. The Photo and Video format is connected to all Instagram feed posts with at least one image and video.
Note that prior to the update on Dec. 7, 2021 these content types were previously categorized as text or photo due to the way they were brought into the platform. This new categorization applies from that date onward.
