Now Available: Updated Dashboards Filters and Explorer Widgets
What is this?
Updates to Marketing dashboard filters and explorer widgets that make customization easier and more intuitive.
Dashboard Filters
Dashboard filters have been reorganized based on the type of widgets they impact in order to make filtering easier. Filters are nested together based on widget type and can be expanded by clicking the plus sign next to the filter header.
Primary filters impacting all widget types appear at the top. They are followed by a group of post filters impacting post widgets and another group of ad filters impacting ad widgets.
All filters continue to function the same and remain intact within existing dashboards. However, The Advanced Twitter Metrics filter is now called “Twitter Metrics” and the options have been renamed “Standard” and “Advanced.”
There is also a number next to the category header indicating the number of filters in the category that have been applied. Only the default selection in unpublished posts is included in that total. Twitter Metrics and Responses are included in the total once a selection is made.
Explorer Widgets
There is now an icon in the editing menu that evenly distributes columns in explorer widgets. This eliminates the need to manually adjust columns after adding or removing them.
Additionally, text will automatically wrap in column headers so there is no need to expand the column to fully see the text.
