Any chance we can have the Block Author option within the Author Profile panel?
This would allow Anyone to block without having the conversation assigned to self. In the event the author violated posting guidelines and it was missed, closed, etc.
LoriCastillo, I have shared this feedback with the product team. That said, the mentioned process requires claiming so that the Author remains accessible and is not inadvertently blocked while another agent is working with that Author.

Would there be an opportunity to have the option available on Closed Conversations without the need to Assign to self, then Reopen to Block an Author?
Jumping in here because I have a similar request but for the ability to delete public replies. Right now, you have to assign to self and then delete, but if admins could have the permission to delete regardless of assignee/status, that would be great too.
