Aurora: Block editing on published content

Sometimes, you might want to block edits to published knowledge base articles or blog posts to prevent other people from changing them.

Note: To block or allow editing on published content you must have the following permission:
    For Knowledge Base - the Create, edit, publish, and manage articles permission
    For Blog - Edit published posts permission to perform this task.

To block edits on a knowledge base article or blog post:

  1. Go to the article/post you want to lock.
  2. Open the Options menu and click Block Edits.

Articles and posts that have been locked down have a banner message above to article to indicate that edits have been blocked.

To restore editing capabilities for this article, open the Options menu and click Allow Edits.
