This update will be introducing a new AI-based image detection capability that will help prevent potentially offensive images from being published on posts.

By Default, AI content moderation is set to OFF

Note that if this configuration is set to ON, it will affect all Initiatives.

Company admins and custom roles with permission to "Manage Company (Edit Company Information)" can access this control

Admins can enable moderation by following the  steps below:

  1. Go to Social Marketing Settings.
  2. Click on AI Content Moderation from the left side menu under Publishing to open the AI Content Moderation tab.
  3. This feature is off by default. Use the dropdown to select Block Potentially Offensive Images or Don’t Moderate Images with AI.

Once the feature is enabled, Khoros AI will check each image when it is added to a post against the following content categories:

Note: At this time, it is not possible to select specific categories to block or allow. If the feature is enabled, all images detected as violating any categories will be blocked.

If any offensive content is detected, those images will be prevented from being added to the post and a pop-up window will display the identified images and the reasons for blocking them

Please note that Khoros AI does its best to recognise and block all images that could be offensive. However, as the AI is evolving and progressing, there is a possibility that some images might get through.

Click Cancel and remove the offending images to resolve the issue and proceed with publishing.
