Editing/Managing Link in Bio page features
To edit/manage an existing Link in Bio page, go to Social Marketing Settings > Publishing > Link in Bio. Select the desired Initiative from the dropdown menu in the upper right..
Note: If there are already Link in Bio pages created for accounts in that initiative, you will have the ability to view the accounts and their respective associated link in bio page URLs.
From the list of Link in Bio pages, click on the pencil icon to edit an existing page. Users with access to Manage Accounts & Manage company, and Full access to publish can also activate or deactivate a page using the toggle switch.
Selecting a page to edit will open the Link in Bio details:
At the top of the page is the URL of the Link in Bio page. Copy this URL and paste it into the "Edit profile" section of Instagram
The left side menu displays the connected Instagram account. Users with access to Manage Accounts and Manage Company can also see other settings in this menu.
- Theme: Select a Light (default) or Dark
- Title: Enter a title for the page
- Avatar: Upload an image which will display at the top of the Link in Bio page. Supported image formats are .jpg, .jpeg and .png
- Header Button: Toggle it on to add a call-to-action button to the page. You can customise the button text, colour, and link URL. Click on "Save & Publish" to update the page.
- The right side of the page shows the posts for the connected Instagram account in reverse chronological order, with scheduled posts always at the top. If a post consists of multiple items, only the first item will be displayed here and on the actual Link in Bio page. Please note that scheduled posts with associated links will appear here but will not be visible on the actual Link in Bio page until they are published.
Note:
If a post is deleted from Khoros, the user will not be able to add, edit, or modify the link for that post in the admin UI. The user will only have the option to remove the post, preventing it from appearing on the Link in Bio URL.
However, if the post is deleted natively (outside of Khoros), it will still remain on the Link in Bio page, and the user will have the ability to edit or modify the link for that post.
Posts that do not have an associated link will appear grayed-out with a broken link icon in the center of the image. These posts are visually indicated as not having a link attached. Importantly, they will not be displayed on the actual Link in Bio page.
Hover over the image to access the options to either "Add Link" or "View Post". Clicking on these options will lead to different destinations based on the status of the post:
- If the post is published on Instagram, selecting "View Post" will open the post natively on Instagram.
- If the post is scheduled and not yet published, selecting "View Post" will open the post in the Khoros Marketing Calendar.
Note:
- After adding a link, it may take up to 2 minutes for the post to appear on the Link in Bio page.
- A post that has an associated link will not be grayed-out and will be visible on the actual Link in Bio page. Hovering over the post will provide options to Edit Link, Remove Link, or View Post, as described earlier. These options allow you to modify the link, remove the link altogether, or view the post either natively on Instagram or in the Khoros Marketing Calendar, depending on its publication status.
Deactivating and activating Link in Bio page
Deactivating and activating a Link in Bio page can be done by users with the Manage Accounts, Manage Company, and Full Access to Publish roles. Here are the steps:
- Go to Social Marketing Settings > Publishing > Link in Bio.
- Select the desired Initiative from the dropdown menu in the upper right corner.
- From the list of Link in Bio pages, locate the page you want to deactivate or activate.
- Users with the appropriate roles will see a toggle switch next to the page. Toggle it to deactivate or activate the Link in Bio page.
Note: Only users with the mentioned roles have the ability to deactivate or activate a Link in Bio page. Other users with different roles will not see these options.
Once a page is deactivated, a visual indicator will be displayed next to the account name to convey that the page is deactivated. This indicator serves as a visual cue to indicate that the page is currently inactive.
When a page is deactivated, no posts or links will be displayed on the Link in Bio page URL. Users will not be able to access the link in bio page on the admin UI until the account is reactivated.
Once a Link in Bio page is re-activated, the URL will become active again, and the page will have all the previously added links intact. Users will be able to access the Link in Bio page using the URL, and all the links that were previously added to the page will be visible and functional.Publishing directly to Instagram

Note:
- Users will be able to add URL only for the posts belonging to an account for which the Link in Bio page has been created.

Analytics:
The following analytics features are available for Link in Bio.
Link in Bio Landing Page Views Widget
This widget shows the number of clicks on the Link in Bio landing page for the selected date range. It can be found in the widget menu and added into any dashboard.
The Page Views metric is also available in the Account Data Export where it is called “Profile Clicks - Website.” Note this metric is only updated once a day due to the way in which Instagram provides the data.
Link in Bio Post Clicks
This metric reflects the number of clicks a post received on the Link in Bio landing page. It can be added into the Post Explorer and Post Gallery widget.
It is also available in Custom Metrics and Data Exports and in the side panel results tab within the calendar and dashboards.
Note:
In order for the metrics to populate, the link in the post has to be shortened via the platform. All links added to the Link in Bio page are automatically shortened using Khoros Bitly unless the “Shorten URL” box is unchecked. Khoros Bitly is used even if another link shortening service is authenticated in Khoros.
