What is this?
The Post Performance Over Time widget provides a view of content performance broken down into time intervals and channels. This widget, in addition to the Comparative Date Selector, allows for exploration into changes across time periods.
In addition to the display settings found in other widgets, there is also a dropdown to select a metric and time interval. Only one metric and time interval can be selected at a time. A list of metrics supported by this widget can be found here.
The widget has a hover state and click-in showing the posts connected to the selected time interval. Both the widget and the click-in support lifetime and net values.
Lifetime shows the total value for posts published during that time.
Net shows the value occurring during that time regardless of when the post was published.

This widget can be accessed and added into any Marketing dashboard via the widget editing menu.
What else do I need to know?
This widget can go back 25 months or to the date of authentication, whichever comes first.
The widget appears in Pacific Standard Time (PST), but the posts in the click-ins are aggregated and shown in the timezone set in user settings. This can cause differences between the widget and the click-in, particularly when there is a large difference between timezones.
There is an enhancement planned to make the widget and the click-ins appear in the user’s timezone whenever possible. In addition to this and other enhancements, there will be other time series widgets supporting different metrics types.
