Users now have the capability to post threads to Twitter directly through Khoros.

Choose a Twitter account and then select 'Twitter Thread' from the format dropdown menu.

Please note that a minimum of two tweets need to be published for it to be considered a thread. When the "Twitter thread" format is selected, users cannot choose accounts from other networks or channels to publish this content.

To add more tweets, click the Add Tweet button. You can add up to a maximum of 25 tweets in a thread. Each tweet in the thread can include up to 4 images, 1 video, or 1 GIF. The Options menu includes the ability to select the media source for an image, video, or GIF, as well as the option to delete a tweet from the thread.

The  published thread can be viewed in the calendar side panel.

Users will be able to differentiate as well as filter for threads published via Khoros in the calendar.

Users can also create link tweets within a thread, however please note that link preview will be generated only for the most recently added link in a tweet.

Analytics for Twitter threads:

Twitter Threads published via the platform and their metrics are now categorised and grouped together in analytics as a “Thread.”

Twitter threads published through the platform appear grouped together and individually in the calendar and dashboard side panel. Clicking into the side panel results tab of the main Tweet shows grouped and individual metrics for all Tweets in the thread.

These Tweets are also connected to a Thread format within analytics filters and widgets.

Please note that previously only the main Tweet of a thread was categorised as a post. All other Tweets in the thread were categorised as responses and filtered out by default via the response filter.

This update allows Threads published via the platform and their metrics to be categorized and grouped together in connection to a Thread format. However, threads published outside the platform will continue to be categorised as described above.
