Aurora: Top Contributions widget configuration

The Top Contributions widget enables you to display the member's top content based on the number of likes or votes it has received. It is available on the Member Profile page template.

Layout style options

Layout options include Detailed List, List, and Card.

From the Edit Widget panel, selecting any of these three options changes the layout to the selected type. Each layout has its own set of unique options.

Detailed List

The Detailed List layout features a smaller thumbnail accompanied by the item's title, various elements, and a preview of its content.

List

The List layout gives you a simple, minimalistic view of the items featured in the widget. You can see the title as well as any elements toggled on in the List Item Elements area of the Edit Widget panel.

Card

The Card layout showcases the item's image, providing a visually appealing look at your featured content.

Configuration Options

List Style

The options in the List Style section for the Detailed List and List layouts include:

  • Space: Uses whitespace to create space between items.
  • Divide: Adds a horizontal line to divide items.
  • Border: Creates a border that separates items into individual boxes.

Title

The Title appears at the top of the widget. If the Visible Only to Screen Readers toggle is active, the title remains hidden from most visitors; however, the title information is still relayed to visitors using screen readers.

Board Types to Include

Use the Board Types to Include drop-down menu to select the type(s) of boards to display in the widget:

  • All
  • Blogs only
  • Ideas only
  • Knowledge Bases only
  • Discussions only

Sort

For the Detailed List layout, you can optionally turn on Show Additional Filter/Sort Tabs to add tabbed navigation within the widget for multiple sort settings.

For example, you can have a tab for your Most Liked content and another for Newest Topics, Recent Activity, Solutions, or Archived content.

Number of Items

The Number of Items slider gives you control over the number of items displayed on the initial page load before a Show More option appears.
