New Features
Brand mention support for LinkedIn
With this release, we’ve added support for ingesting brand mentions from LinkedIn. When a LinkedIn user mentions your brand in a personal post, you’ll be able to respond to it from Care.
Note: Brand mentions are ingested only when they occur within a public post. Brand mentions in private messages are not ingested.
To take advantage of brand mentions, you’ll need to enable a new setting for your LinkedIn integration.
To enable brand mention ingestion for a LinkedIn integration:
- Sign in to Khoros Care as an Admin user and go to Care Settings > Source Integrations.
- Find your LinkedIn account in the list of integrations and click Edit.
- Under Preferences, select Receive Brand Mentions.
- Click Done Editing.
- To ensure that the new setting is saved, use the toggle to turn the integration Off, then back On.
When a LinkedIn user mentions your brand in a post, a conversation is created in Care with the “brand mention” tag automatically applied.
Accessibility improvements
Khoros is committed to making our products usable for everyone, regardless of their diverse needs and any assistive technologies they may use. After a comprehensive accessibility review of Care, we analyzed guidelines from W3C’s Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) and The A11Y Project to shape our plans for a more inclusive platform experience.
With this release, we’ve made significant accessibility improvements to the Agent View and global navigation.
Labels for screen readers
If you use a screen reader in Khoros Care, you’ll see added or improved labels all throughout the Agent View, including for elements in the panel that includes Author information and quick responses.
Keyboard navigation
We’ve added multiple keyboard control options for quicker and easier navigation of elements in Agent View. You can now:
- Use the Tab key ↹ to navigate through the headings, icons, and other elements in all Agent View navigation areas
- Use the space bar or Enter key↵ to select an element in focus (comparable action to clicking with a mouse cursor)
This set of improvements is only the first step toward a continued effort to achieve the ultimate Khoros Care experience. We are actively planning and working on more accessibility improvements in the near future and will announce them as soon as they’re available.
Care Analytics
Additional channels in Raw Author export
We’ve added new columns to the Raw Author export that reflect data for the following channels:
- LINE
- Yelp
- TikTok
We’ve also removed data columns for Google+, as this platform and its associated data no longer exist.
For the full list of Raw Author export columns, see Care Analytics: Exports.
You found it. We fixed it.
Care
- Previously, public responses to iOS review conversations were incorrectly tagged as Private. This has been resolved.
Manage View
- Earlier, the Select All option for the Listening Rules did not reset the list when you clicked the option for the second time. The Select All option now selects and deselects the entire list of listening rules, alternatively.
- When you edit a Conversation column with multiple source integrations, posts from all the applied sources did not get updated. You can now see the relevant posts for the selected sources.
- Manage View columns did not display posts and conversations from the Brand Messengers for the select date range. You can now see posts and conversations from the Brand messenger for the selected date range.
