Registration window password requirements

When new users are registering for your community and their cursor is in the Password field, they can now review a list of the community’s password requirements. Based on your community’s configuration, these requirements may be any combination of the following:

  • 8 or more characters
  • No repeating characters
  • Lower and uppercase letters
  • At least one number
  • No part of your username

The person registering for the community cannot create an account until their password fulfils all of the listed requirements. As they enter their desired password, the grey check marks beside each requirement turns green to indicate that they’ve met that requirement.

Schedule Analytics reports to be emailed to you

With this release, Analytics users can schedule analytics reports and have them emailed to themselves. Below is an example of the Reports page with the status of report schedules.

Key Features:

Scheduled reporting:
You can seamlessly schedule reports from the Reports page itself. On the Reports page, open the report you want to schedule. Open the Options menu of the report and click Schedule Report.

Flexible delivery frequency: You can set your delivery frequency of this report to be Daily, Weekly, or Monthly based on your needs.

    • Daily: The report contains data from the previous day.
    • Weekly: The report contains data for the previous 7 days and will be available on the selected day of the week.
    • Monthly: The report contains data for a calendar month and will be available on the 1st day of every month.

Monitoring schedules: The Reports page lists all the scheduled reports under Schedule Status. You can keep track of schedule statuses (whether the reports are ready for download, waiting to initiate, or currently processing).

To view all schedules at every report level:

  1. Open the report you want to schedule.
  2. Open the Options menu.
  3. Click View Scheduled Reports

To view schedules at all report levels:

  1. Open the Reports listing page.
  2. Hover your cursor over the schedule in the Schedule Status column.
  3. Open the Options menu.
  4. Click the View Schedule Reports option.

In both these cases, the Scheduled Reports window appears.

Possible scheduled report states include:

  • Waiting: When a report is scheduled for the first time, the Status shows Waiting along with the date on which the report is due to be delivered.
  • Processing: After the data collection commences in the background, the Status changes to Processing
  • Download: When the report processing is complete and data is ready, the Status changes to Download. You can click Download to download the report on your device.
  • Failed: If a schedule fails for any reason, the Status changes to Failed.

Viewing your reports

  • Receive the reports on your email: After a schedule is complete, the report is directly sent as an attachment to your registered email address.
  • Download scheduled reports: When the scheduled report is complete, the report is emailed to you. You can also access and download your reports from the Reports page.
    1. Open the report’s Options menu and click View Scheduled Reports.

      The Scheduled Reports window appears.

    2. Click Download. The file will be downloaded.

Dev Tools API Apps

The Dev Tools area of the admin has a new section dedicated to generating app credentials for Aurora's GraphQL API. This section enables you to generate unique OAuth 2.0-compliant client secrets and IDs for any applications you are developing that will use the GraphQL API.

You can create as many or as few API apps as you need, enabling you to create granular access permissions for each individual application that can be edited or revoked at any time through this tool. You can also download an app's JSON credentials for easy integration into your application.

For additional control, use the OAuth client credentials auth roles to add additional context to the API user.

You can find out more about this new feature in our Developer Documentation.

API Tutorials

We have added few API tutorials in this release to enhance your developer experience.
