The gifs and png files we were using I resaved them on my computer as that file type. I'm working on mac incase that is important. Once the files were resaved the images and gifs uploaded properly.
I have been receiving the images and gifs the same way which has worked in the past. I am not sure why but resaving the images before the upload to a post/avatar is working.
I know we setup something for notification later in the week to cover what occurred and thank you for your time!
