Announcement

After a review of the current levels of Twitter usage on communities, Khoros will be ending our support of the Twitter integration in Community Classic. At this time, there are no plans to replace the current functionality in Classic or Aurora. As we evaluate the 2024 roadmap later this year, share your thoughts or any questions you might have on the Twitter integration.

This change will be automatically applied to all communities from 23.7 release onward. With this change, community members and admins will no longer be able to:

  • Set or view Twitter streams in the community
  • Create a topic from a tweet and tweet back to the Twitter author
  • Tweet from your community Twitter account
  • Create a Twitter badge

Additionally, the settings related to Twitter Integration will be turned off and removed from the Community Admin.

You Found it! We Fixed it!

General fixes

  • Previously, in Communities v22.12, spam posts appeared on the Spam Quarantine page even after 30 days. This issue is fixed. Now, spam posts are removed from the Spam Quarantine page after 30 days.

  • Previously, in communities that run on various Horizontal Scale (HS) nodes, when community admins tried to move a board to another category, the Community Structure failed to update the change in all HS nodes. This issue is fixed. Now, when a board is moved, the Community Structure is updated on all HS nodes.

  • Previously, members who used core SAML could not add custom decorators for SSO authentication flow. This issue is fixed. Now, members can add decorators via custom plugin to the ongoing SSO authentication flow.

Accessibility fixes

  • Previously, the Aria label was not defined for the tables that were present on the community home page. As a result, the screen reader did not read the name of the tables. This issue is now fixed.
