Analytics
Talkwalker Topic widgets
We have added a selection of new widgets that make use of Talkwalker data to the existing capability to embed Talkwalker widgets into a dashboard via iFrames.
This integration utilizes Talkwalker APIs to populate the Topic widgets and filters for projects configured in Talkwalker. Note that all configuration is done in Talkwalker directly, although there are filters within Khoros Marketing Analytics that can be used to filter the contents of these widgets.
The following is a list of the currently available Topic widgets:
- Topic Results: Total results for topics based on filter selections.
- Topic Sentiment: A breakdown of the selected topics by sentiment displayed in a bar chart.
- Topic Media Types: A breakdown of selected topics by media type displayed in a bar chart.
- Topic Themes: The top 25 keywords for selected topics displayed as bubbles in a word cloud.
- Topic Results Over Time: Results for selected topics broken down into time intervals in a time series chart.
- Topic Share of Voice: Breaks down listening data by topics; the five topics with the highest volume are shown, with remaining topics grouped together as “Other.”
Notes: Channel analytics widgets (e.g., public social account performance) and breakdowns by topic are not supported due to current API restrictions (amount of required calls, social network limits). Also, Facebook and Instagram posts can not be displayed due to these same limits. All widgets feature click-ins displaying related posts, but Facebook, Instagram and the full text of Tweets can not be displayed due to the restrictions previously mentioned. Solutions are being worked on to support these in future releases.
See the Talkwalker + Marketing Overview for more information about the integration, and then learn how to Add Talkwalker widgets to Dashboards.
Publishing
AI Content Moderation
Previously, manual checks were needed during the approval flow to see whether images contain offensive content. This process is often time-consuming and error-prone, which is where our Artificial Intelligence (AI) functionality will save agent time and effort by identifying potentially offensive images before publication.
This new feature is off by default and can be enabled by Admins in Social Marketing Settings > Publishing > AI Content Moderation. Once the feature is enabled, Khoros AI will check each image when it is added to a post. If any offensive content is detected, publication will be blocked and a pop-up window will display the identified images and the reasons for blocking them.

You found it. We fixed it.
- Resolved an analytics issue causing posts to not appear for selected dates when there was a large difference between the selected timezone and the user's computer’s timezone. The dashboard date selector has been reconfigured so that it is not affected by the computer’s timezone.
- Fixed an issue in Vault causing some customers whose access to a Facebook Page was manually removed to not regain access to all Pages after being re-added.
- Fixed an issue in publishing wherein a link failed to publish to LinkedIn with an “invalid image URL” error, despite the image URL being valid.
- Fixed an issue in publishing wherein certain URLs with baked-in redirects were causing immediate publishing failures when scraping link previews.
- Fixed an issue in user management preventing an admin from removing users in bulk.
