Instagram Location Tagging (Beta)

Customers now have the option to tag a location in their Instagram posts. Adding the location to Instagram posts is only available for a single image or video that will be published directly through the API.

You can tag the location while creating an Instagram post. Under the message box, a new section is created where you can add the location.

After tagging the location, when you preview the post, the location information will be visible beneath the Instagram account name. You can either schedule or publish the post-as-is.

Note this feature is totally dependent on Facebook APIs. Any changes on the Facebook side will impact its functionality. That’s why we are calling it a Beta release where we will closely monitor the performance of these APIs and make necessary changes to provide you with optimum user experience.

Twitter

Quote Tweets availability

Quote Tweets (aka retweets with comments) are now supported in Social Marketing in two ways:

  • Creating a Quote Tweets Stream in the Social Inbox
  • Creating Rules that automatically route and label Quote Tweets

Vault

Additional Facebook Auth Options

Additional options have been added that allow admins to define how long third-party app authorization will stay valid. Granting certain users a longer auth duration in Vault ensures that connections between the Page and other apps aren't broken by maintaining a connection between the user and the account.

Analytics

Custom metrics available in table widgets

The July 2020 release gave Khoros Marketing Analytics customers the ability to create their own custom defined metrics in Data Exports. Custom metrics are now also available in table widgets and the Custom Metrics widget.
