Ability to turn off all notifications using single API

In order to maintain can spam compliance we need to be able to turn off all email notifcations for a user.   The short term solution is to inject a "bad" email address to you so no emails get to the actual user.  However this solution does not work if the user changes the email settings and subscribes to a thread.  We need a better solution to turn off / on notifcations for a user through API.

    Hey Reng,

     

    Unfortunately, I don't think there is currently a way to turn off all notifications for a user via APIs. I will check with a few people here and see if there's something I didn't think of.

     

    For now I would suggest you make a suggestion in our Customer Ideas Board for a feature disabling e-mail notifications completely for a user.
