Access token expiry time

Hi,   Do anyone know how we can set the expiry time of access token we get from API call (/restapi/vc/authentication/sessions/login). The default value seems to be 30 mins.   Thanks, Sachin

Hey Sachin,

This can be changed via Community Admin, if you go to System > Auto Login/Cookies , there is a setting for 'Period of inactivity before auto-logoff (minutes)'. Just update the value there

Hi Chhama,

 

Thanks for the reply. Changing settings at  System > Auto Login/Cookies will work for session token but not for access token (which we use to make rest api call). I am specifically looking for setting the expirty time for access token.

    Sorry I was confused by your question since it mentioned "the expiry time of access token we get from API call". So for the access token (which we use to get the session key via Rest api), you might have to raise support request to set it to the value you want, since only Lithium manages it. But to tell you, we have a security policy in place which does not let you reuse any access token once it has been used.
