Syntax for making API V2 call directly from browser:
<Community_Base _URL>/api/2.0/search?q=query
Note: Do not specify “ ” while writing query as a parameter.
Example:
http://<base_url>/api/2.0/search?q=select%20*%20from%20messages

Hi dhiraj_gophane -- While that approach may work temporarily, it is not officially supported and will likely be turned off in the future. The officially supported path is to use OAuth via the API proxy.
