Apostrophe in PM subject - Text Editor

Hi folks, editing some PMs in the Text Editor and having an issue I don't remember the solution for.

Trying to use a contraction in the subject line, but instead of you're I get you''re.

Tried escaping with \, encoding it as %27 and using a double apostrophe (saw '' in some other text strings), but no luck.

Has anyone done this successfully?

Can't reproduce that problem here on the Lithium community which is on 17.12. I sent a PM to myself which included apostrophe both in subject and body.

Or are you referring to sending these PM via API?

I'm talking about the Text Editor, in Studio. For, for example, rank up notification PMs.

Ah. I'm getting closer to understand, but I'm still a bit confused as I don't recall that we even send out PMs on rank up. Or are you referring to realtime notification popups? For them I successfully used double apostrophe in the text editor to get a single on in the output. Maybe if you simply share the text key you are playing with and we can have a look.

    You sure do :)

    From the Text Editor:

    rankChanged.privateMessage.default.template.subject =

    rankChanged.privateMessage.default.template.html_content =

PerBonomi did you ever figure out a solution for this? I'm having kind of the opposite problem. I have a text key that includes the username and we want to make it possessive ("natkinson's such and such") but when I try to use {1}''s I just get either a space or nothing, so it's either "natkinsons" or "natkinson s". Was hoping you figured this out in the past 3 years!
