Ask a question setting in ADMIN

Hi all,

I need some clarity on a particular setting for Ask a question.

 

Admin -> Features -> Ask a Question -> Type of boards to show in board chooser. -> Use default set in Studio

 

how this setting works?

which value it takes?

    I think the answer can be found here (page 5)

     

    Type of boards to show in board chooser
    The type of boards to show in the “Choose a board” drop-down menu and modal popup.
    The default value set in Studio can be found by viewing the XML tab of the page(s) on which the Ask a Question component is used. Look for the value set for “discussionStyle” which will be either “forum” or “qanda”.

      If there is "quanda" and "forum" but it appears both those exclude "TKB". Is there a variable that allows for searching the "forum" + "TKB"?

        I'm not sure I understand your question. Can you rephrase?
