Hi Yuri,
thank you. Looks like this is the thing I am looking for. Since I am not realy good with this REST thing, can you tell me hwo the call we have to look like if I am using it?
For example: I got a message with ID 12263 which was postet at 14th June 2013. Which call would set the date to 2th May 2013?
Thanks again,
Martin
After looking further into it looks like this was mis-documented. You will need to create a support request to get this done. I will make sure we update the documentation accordingly.
Thank you,
Yuri

Hi Yuri,
no good news then. So there is no way to change post date without involvement of Lithium support? That is something you guys should definitly change.
Best,
Martin

Madmortem : Were you ever able to successfully change the post dates of the imported blog posts? We're looking to import our Wordpress blog via the REST API and want to ensure that we can set the blog post dates properly. Any advice from your efforts would be a great help.
YuriK : Is it still necessary to contact Lithium support to change the dates on blog posts? Is this different when the blog posts are created via the REST API instead of via copy + paste, and is the documentation now accurate?

iftomkins I spoke with YuriK :
Filing a support ticket is still required to change dates on blog posts (regardless of how the post was created - copy/past or API). The message.post_date parameter has been removed from the documentation. All other parameters listed are supported. I would suggest you add this to our http://community.lithium.com/t5/Suggestions-for-our-community/bd-p/Help.
