Without a professional services engagement, you would have to re-write the message list on the board page, and you would most likely lose some of the icons that appear in various casees (when an attachment has been added to a message, when a message has been escalated, etc.) if you didn't know to code for that (and in some cases there is no way to code for that in studio).

 

I believe Professional Services has a way to customize the message list on the board page that has not been exposed in Studio yet.
