Can we add hreflang code/tags to our Communities?

Hi,

I'm trying to find out if we can implement hreflang code to identify country-specific content or categories on our communities?

We're interested in doing this to make sure that Google correctly ranks content from our communities for each country that our community is built for. For example, we want to make sure Google only ranks US content for US users, and only UK content for UK users - and so on.

Is this possible with Khoros?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello Ellen_G, you can add arbitrary HTML elements within the <head> element of the page using this page in Studio: Studio>>Community Style>>[choose skin]>>Wapper>>Page Head Top Content. I believe this textarea allows Freemarker code so it could be written in such a way that conditionally adds different code based on some context like the node or URL.

        Hey,

        any updates on this?

we are looking as well since our customers are complaining that Google search is not showing results in a specific language, instead translated in English content shown.

some docs or code samples would help

  • Usually in such cases create a app with multilingual languages. When the same content can be viewed in different languages. Find more information in Google Directories.
