Capturing Twitter Feed

One of our internal users asked if we could capture the  Twitter feed (i.e., to a .csv file).   What's presented is a rolling view of several Tweets at a time, but they would like the entire stream captured for periodic reviews.     I understand that this functionality doesn't exist.    Any ideas for a work-around to get this?

    I'm no Twitter expert, but this is a great question, so I decided to research it a bit.

     

    First, our application does not presently do what you're asking it to do.  After finding out what *can* be done, I found a tool that *might* help:
