Category and Board Descriptions

How do change the font size of the category and board description?  I also would like to limit how much the description shows on the Community Page.

  • If you're filling out the descriptions through the Admin panel, those fields should support HTML mark-up.

     

    If you're populating those fields in other ways, there should be a CSS style-sheet that you can use to apply the styles you mention to those fields.

    How do you make the category description to display on the forum? I've looked at the Admin.

    Hi jbdean, I think this would have to be done in studio although it's not something I have much experience of. The guide can be found here.

    The Category description does not show up in the UI. I believe it is there for SEO purposes.

  • It should be selectably visible or not, in the Admin. Adding a custom content field for a value that is already available in the properties sheet causes unnecessary work for the Administrator.
