Changing default tab in Ideas page

Is there a way to get New Ideas as a default tab in the Ideas page? 

The current default is Hot Ideas, but we have got a lot of feedback from our users that New Ideas is more relevant. I couldn't find a way to do it from our end. Can it be done though?

    There is one solution around this

    You can check in url if it does not contain "/tab" in url path then redirect users to "/tab/most-recent"

      It's not an ideal solution, but it does work.
